Oonagh Mac Mahon

Oonagh qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from the University of Limerick in June 2013. Prior to this, she obtained an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis from the University of Ulster, Coleraine and subsequently gained certification as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).


Oonagh has gained considerable clinical experience working with children with a variety of paediatric diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, children with speech sound disorders/delay, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD and previously SLI), younger children with language delay, as well as Dysfluency (stuttering). Oonagh is qualified in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) - Level 1, LAMH - Level 1, SCERTS, and has attended an Attention Autism course, as well as a 3-day workshop on Social Thinking methodologies with Michelle Garcia Winner. Oonagh has recently trained as an NLA Trained Clinician from Meaningful Speech, an organisation that specialised is working with children who present as gestalt language processors.

Oonagh is a full member of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists, a registered member of CORU, and a registered Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.

Kate Delaney

BA MSC MIASLT CORU

Kate qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from the University of Limerick Masters Programme in June 2012. Prior to that she studied Early Childhood Studies BA (Hons) at Carlow Institute of Technology.

Kate has gained considerable experience working with children with autism in a variety of settings since 2007.

​Kate has carried out research, developing an assessment for Irish children with word finding difficulties. She also has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with Developmental Language Disorder, speech sound difficulties, stammers, language delay, and children with ADHD and Down Syndrome.

​Kate Delaney Speech and Language Therapy is dedicated to  providing a professional, personalised therapy  service for children with a variety of Speech and Language needs in both the home and School environment. Kate is based in the Maynooth area. She works on a Home and School visit bases. Now with the recent onset of Corona Virus Kate has up skilled in the area of Tele Therapy/Online speech and language therapy and is in a position to offer same.

​Kate is qualified in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) - Level 1, LAMH - Level 1.

​Kate is a full member of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists, a registered member of CORU.
